Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. Her breakthrough role as Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. Her notable film appearances are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with Immortals) Immortals) is believed to be in the works. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently in production.
